Default pins from video card to motherboard

Hello

Say looking a the gold pin connections on a video card, is it possible to see if the card has ever been inserted into a board or not, just visually looking at it?

Every card from the factory will have been installed anyways for QC as well.

So it should show some time of directional marks on the pins themselves.

Alright, so every card is tested.
But new cards do come with a protective film and some sort of antistatic bag?
The so called new cards do not have either, the stickers are pealing off in the corners and the cd drivers are scratched up.
Nothing looks new. I purchased nothing but new cards, and never had this happen. New cards that look used.
