Add $5 ($155 AR...but its more money up front) and have a quiet and cool running gigabyte version of the 6870.

Yes, my HD4850 driver is the latest from AMD. I hooked up my computer to my Plasma TV using a DVI cable, and it has the same flashing geometric shapes. Would you agree that my HD4850 is a problem?

SKYMTL did not review this Gigabyte HD6870. I'll have to search for more reviews.

edit: 2 users in NCIX did say it is quiet and cool. I'll give it some thought. Thanks.

Default HD6870 or GTX560 Ti

I am now finally down to these 2 choices. 560 Ti is $50 more, but with a free Batman AC game which is about $40. So, which is a better card?

Everyday I go through a simlilar thing as you . I am using an older 2gb 285gtx it is watercooled so there are no issues with the card but I have this dam upgrade bug I always wiegh the pros and cons of doing the upgrade and the one major thing that stops me every time is noise that is the one thing that I totally love about being watercooled is that it is quiet, I think that the only way I would upgrade was if I got a good deal on a newer card that either had the waterblock or the water block price was lower .

If you were going to buy this game by itself for 40$, then yes, get the card with it. The 560Ti is damn worth the extra 10$ you'll have to add.
