Corsair, Antec and Seasonic are all great brands of PSU. You can't go wrong with any. Stay away from Coolermaster and Thermaltake PSUs.

A good 500 watt psu will handle a 6870 well.

It will. That ASUS LED monitor you bought is one step above what mine is, and I have to admit I am very happy with it thus far.

I think you will be much better off now,

Thanks for the positive response...but guess what just happened?

Just got an email 10 minutes later saying that Newegg has set my order to "void"

.....................

This is what they sent me:

Not my card because I bought the PSU from directcanada.com and they had no problem charging my card...These Newegg guys better get this figured out and give me the discounts I got on the black friday deals on Monday!

That does suck. Good choices though. Good luck figuring it out or getting something else ordered quickly with sales that are left.

So I finally got the Newegg order resolved. I had to order it again at a higher price but they agreed to refund me the difference between the two orders (so I still got my discounts)

So received my card and monitor, yet my PSU has still not arrived! It's been a week and I think that directcanada fuzzed my order because the site was not being updated AKA it was stuck @ the

"Order Processed
Your order was processed successfully. "

stage. I had to email them to even get the tracking number and it seems that the package was only shipping out on the 30th? That's 3 business days since I ordered it...anyway...the problem is that the Purolator tracking hasn't been updated for 2 business days now...it still says that the package left Vancouver @ 7:58pm on the 30th and no updates since...

Bleh...I want to play some games but need to wait for that PSU!
