Default XF or SLi - What you running?

See a number of Posts from newer Members (and some older ones), wondering whether to go with vn or ati Multi GPU Solutions.
Of course we have all read (in some cases experienced the Pro's n Cons with either set-up), lets get an idea of how many red / green Multi GPU Solutions there are in our Community

No need to get into a Flame War defending either set-up (this would only go around in circles resulting in a "lock"), simply checking the Poll is all that's required

Cheers

I've run 3870 xfire, 5770 xfire, then 470 sli, then 3way sli 470's. I didn't really notice any brand as being better.

Good point. Both has its up and downs. Apples Vs Oranges.

For single monitors users. One high end gpu is usually enough power for the upcoming 6 months.

And where is the both option? I doubt anyone here only have one setup....

At 2560x1440, this is sadly not the case :(

My GTX580 can't run "Ultra" settings in BF3. Even "High" settings only gets me about 40FPS on average. I'm seriously considering GTX580 SLI this Black Friday/Boxing Day if the price is right

At the moment quadfire I guess?
2x 4870x2, it does ok on a single monitor.

Never had any Nvidia Cards before, if any good deals come out black Friday or Q1 or Q2 2012 I'm gonna jump ship and see if the drivers are any better, or if all drivers suck equally
