I mean the performance difference will be pretty tiny. the thing is in my experience the ram on graphics cards is very intolerant to 24/7stable overclocks. Your 1st card probably has really good ram modules that accept overclocks. like the same type and rated speed they just happen to be ones that allow overclocking.
I'd say the chances of buying 4200mhz ram and getting it overclocked to 4400mhz would be low. Unless your changing voltages and stuff. probably better to expect them both clocked to 4200mhz
