It has been months and the latest is that the original powercolor rep that handled the contest is no longer at powercolor and a new powercolor rep appointed to HWC is looking into it.

It seems simple either powercolor honors it or not, what's to look into.

It's been 2 1/2 months and it's still at the point of establishing whether powercolor knows about the contest, hence "looking into it" for the last 2 weeks.

For a company that doesn't have the best reputation for customer service, this little fiasco isn't helping their public image any.

Honestly guys, I feel horrible about this.

I can tell you that we have completely revised our contest prerequisites from manufacturers. From here on out we will be handling our own contests with the manufacturers shipping the items to us BEFORE any contest page goes live. That way we can avoid these types of situations in the future.

Sure Quebec's law regarding most contests is horrible and leave us out of most too, but at least when we win something, they have no choice but to give the price fair and square, or they're in deep shit...(I hope they're at least.. )
