My System Specs

Default AX850 or AX1200 for SLI GTX480 OC'd

2600k
2x GTX480

I have an AX850, but i dont OC

i keep both gpu's at stock, but im thinking about OCing everything.
would the AX850 be enough? if not, im thinking of buying the AX1200 (no other choice, if im going to upgrade, tis going to be that one)

I run a 2600k @5g / 4x4 ddr3-1600 / 6 hdds / 6x140mm / 2x 6970 OCed to 950 core and a shit ton of usb crap and pull 670w from my kill a meter max.

I would have gone for the AX1200 just for the headroom and piece of mind (If budget isn't an issue), while with the 850 you will be close but should be fine.

Won't be easy since it's a pretty new model, look for the HX1000, you should find them around 130-140$ :)

Why would they make 2 models 50w apart?

The HX1000 is an old ( but still good ) design back in the day. The HX1050 is the newer model that is available now, new platform , new OEM I believe (can't recall if the old one was a CWT or not).
