My System Specs

Default VGA Asus GTX 560 vs GTX 550 Ti x2 in SLI

Im planning on building a new rig
Which one would perform better

An Asus GTX 560 for 220$
or
2xAsus GTX 550 Ti in SLI (total of 240$)

there is a review on tech power up, GTX 550 Ti vs 560Ti, and if the card scales like in theory, meaning two cards in SLI will add 90% to the performance of a single card , they would be better even than the 560Ti , not just the simple 560.

Here is a review of 550 Ti SLI. Link is to conclusion page that puts performance vs 570 and vs 6950. IMO stick with a single more powerful card. Even if you will be down a few FPS in some games it will be up a lot in games that don't scale very well. It could save you some headaches.
