Asus RMA

Hey,

Need to RMA my 580GTX :(

Filled out Asus's online RMA tool last Wed and have not heard anything since then (No RMA# or anything given)

Anyone ever RMA a higher end video card to them? How long does it typically take?

Call them.

Just sitting around never does anything. Asus can be a bunch of wankers when it comes to RMAs.

I had fairly good luck with their online RMA for a motherboard. It did take them a while to reply and they sent me a corrupt attachment the first time too.

I don't know if their GPU RMA's are separate though...

do call them, indeed. the online tool is a tool.

Always call for RMA's. It's easy to ignore an email, not so easy to ignore a phone ringing on your desk.

Yah you should get an RMA # right away if you call.

ASUS has been a mixed bag for me...
It took 1 month for them to respond about a motherboard (e-mail), but 1.5 days to respond about a video card for me (also e-mail). When I finally got their attention turnaround time was less than a week. Their phone number didn't work for me.
I wrote something up about them in the RMA experience thread.

:haha: Not really actually, I do it all the time at work.

First post. Hello everyone.

Just rma'd my Asus p68 motherboard. They have received it and say it will take up to 10 business days to send back. Wouldn't tell me what the hold up was. I'm assuming they are testing it.

Little worried as it has already been a week since I requested the RMA. Some on this forum said it can take 3 weeks to get it back.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm considering buying a new motherboard if im going to be out of commission for another couple of weeks.

Thanks for any help,

Jason
