My System Specs

Default Looking into Video Card upgrade

hey guys my rig is setup as follows:

i7 930 @ 2.8ghz
Gtx 460 sli x 2
ATX PSU 650w
Gigabyte X58a-Ud3r Rev 2.0

now my board i can do a 3-way sli, but i was figuring that, hopefully Nvidia will be releasing a new series of cards later this year that the prices of the gtx570 or 580 will go down in price, so i was thinking of either getting sli gtx580 or gtx570 and keep one of my 460s and dedicate it to physx

also im getting a 3 screen setup as well so i wont be running just 1080p ill definately be wanting to push the resolution higher

I know ill have to upgrade my psu to take the higher end cards

but other than that does anyone have any other suggestions for what card i should use? I'm limiting doesn to Geforce cards because i have more experience with them, also if you think the gtx580 would be suffice at 1.5 gb or should i get the 3gb?

thanks guys! sorry for the long post

Default

maybe overclock your cpu to start with?

and for 3 screens, a pair of radeons should kill. 6950 2gb's

and not break the bank
