Default reference 6950's for water

Back when the 6950's first came out i picked up a reference 2gb card. Thinking I would be satisfied I never bothered considering crossfire. Now I find myself going for crossfire (now) and eventual water loop (over the next 2 months). Now my question is are there any reference design pcb card still out there? I know none of the available cards have stock coolers but do any have the original pcb? I dont really care much for the unlock as i dont think most if any of the cards out now will I just want a card I can fit a f/c block to. I would be purchasing here in Ontario. Thanks for your help:)

So you have the first version of the 6950, correct? the version that was physically identical to the 6970? if this the case, then no, there is a new revision that has been in production for quite some time now. you might get lucky thou.....

Yep it's the first version of the card thats identical to 6970's but was hoping some manufacturer might of stuck with the original pcb design.

Guess I'll have to go with a universal block or just leave it and put my other card underwater if the new coolers are quiet enough. I hope this doesn't look too hideous.

Actually, most well known block manufacturers (EK, DD, Koolance) got FC-WB for the new 6950 (V2), if that's what you were wondering.

I found through EK's configurator that they have a f/c block for the powercolor AX6950's which is good. Now I just hope they get some in stock at a certain local Canadian chain before payday.
