GTX 560 ti vs GTX 570? Is it worth the extra money for the 570 over the 560 ti? Im looking to play Battlefield 3 at max settings how much more FPS does the 570 get over the 560 ti? |
A slightly overclocked 560 Ti will easily rival the 570. All depends on budget I guess. |
As Keywork said, an OCed 560 ti will rival a 570, and one can not calculate a video cards performance in battlefield 3 seeing as it hasn't be released yet and it differs between games.. |

Well, As a owner of two 560Ti in SLI, I'll still try to be objective here. If you look at buying ONE card, it might be a good idea to go for the 570 for the little extra vRAM (1.28GB for the 570 instead of 1GB on the 560Ti). But, I would only pick a few 570s...actually only the cards that have upgraded (beefed up) power delivery (VRMs). So, the MSI 570 TFIII Voltage edition or the ASUS DirectCuII...there is probably other cards, but very few have the upgraded/custom VRM design.... |
another question that may beg the question upon questioning the above questions might be : 'no love for the 6950's?' :) http://tpucdn.com/reviews/Powercolor...es/perf_oc.gif XFX Radeon 6970 and Radeon 6950 Graphics Card Review - CrossFire / Eyefinity vs SLI if you do get the 560 or 570 you may fold it well :) 2 gigs of vram should be enough, pair it with her sister and theyll give the 580 pair a run for their moolah |
at 1080p or less,my vote goes to 560ti...bang/buck is the best out there. |
well hope this helps Battlefield 3 System Requirements and Battlefield 3 Requirements for PC Games gives the min requirements and what not I think the GTX 570 would do fine. |

no... BC2 uses frostbite 1.5, BF3 uses frostbite 2. BF3s minimum system requirements is probably BC2s recommended system requirements. |
