I'd love to see the performance of this card driving 3 monitors against your old setup (provided you have or remember your old benchies).

I had one of those. I returned it, when I realized it was a little too much for me.
I managed to get a full refund (well, a store credit).

But at my res (1680 x 1050 right now) my two 560Ti TFII OC are getting a Pscore of 8400 (2500K @ 4.5) that's with the latest 275.33 drivers...

With the GTX590 classified, I was getting a Pscore of 8475 (2500K @ 4.6).

look at my post on overclock.net:

Which would yield better performance 570s or a 590? - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

Of course, my latest 3dmarks 11 at 8400 with a 4.5Ghz OC is not reflected in the post...drivers weren't out then...

Current gen games at 16x10 are very easy for a 580 to run maxed out. Actually I dont think there is much of a performance gain on anything over about a 560 to be honest. Until you go up in resolution anything further (including my personal 580) is probably just being capped by your 60hz refresh rate anyways

I should really upgrade to a good 120hz monitor. Until they come out with atleast an IPS 120hz 19x12 I wont bother (and I can imagine the price tag associated with it...)

Smile Video Cards

I'm interested in how it performs as well. Have owned the 295 and 9800gx2 and loved both. The 9800 actually performed better than the 280 OC I bought. Of course it was a dual gpu, so no surprise

there really. I was using a 40" LCD then.

Started to play around with xfire and sli after noticing better performance than dualies overall. Again, there are issues with either setup, but the 580 sli really performs well on a 55" LED HDTV.

Save those toonies folks, it adds up.

Sure looks like it's packed well enough. Looks like 2 could fit in that box!!!

Edit: Nice card btw!
