Default gtx 2 way sli, no sli option

I have 2 gtx 480's in my asus p8p67 m pro board and there is no sli ption in the nvidia control panel. Ive tried new drivers, old drivers, fresh instakll of windows, uninstalling realtek lan and audio, switching the cards around, cards in different slots (x16/x4) and (x8/x8) They both show up but no sli option, just physx. It also says to put the 2nd gtx in a high performance pci e slot, it already is though. Can someone help me?

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS P8P67-M PRO

- CrossFireX Support
- SLI Support

hmmm both should be cool.

do you have the connector on? try it the other way around

one card in,boot up. let the drivers go on. shut down. second card in. at first no connector, then connector?

also, might sound dumb, but try the sli trick? i did that when the control panel

got messed up and didnt care to find out why/reinstall :)

ps welcome around!

I wonder if the P67 is suffering from the same driver issue the 990FX is? Try downloading the Quadro beta drivers here and giving that a whirl. I'd be interested to see if this is the case, as it would certainly expand nVidia'a blunder.

Should work, do you have your SLI bridge installed?

I will try those drivers. What is the sli trick? Yes sli bridge was on. My old 560 ti's never had this problem. Will get back with the results. It wont let me install the quadro drivers. Says they are not compatible with my card.

I will try that right now. Talked to nvidia about my problem, they were quite useless.
