My System Specs

Default replacing my vieo card

as the title says, I'm looking for a new video card. the ones I am looking at so far are
NCIX.com - Buy XFX Radeon HD 6870 Dual Fan 900MHZ 1GB 4.2GHZ GDDR5 2XDVI HDMI 2x Mini Display Port PCI-E Video Card - XFX - HD687AZDFC - in Canada
NCIX.com - Buy XFX Radeon HD 6950 XXX 830MHZ 1GB 5.2GHZ DDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI 2XMINI DisplayPort Video Card - XFX - HD695XZDDC - in Canada
NCIX.com - Buy MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr OC 880MHZ 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI Mini-HDMI DX11 PCI-E Video Card - MSI/MicroStar - N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr II/OC - in Canada

I like the 6870 because of the price to the power, as well as the support for eyefinity. I like the 6950 because it is powerful, and supports eyefinity.
and I am leaning towards the 560 because the drivers are better, and it's around the same performance as the other 2. but it only has effective support for 2 monitors, and price to power the 6950 is better.
any suggestions between the 3 or for another card? please give some decent reasoning behind why you say I should get some card.
I am not planning on flashing the 6950 if I were to get a 2GB version.
the reason I chose those 2 ATI cards is for the better cooling, meaning I can have them run slightly slower with the same cooling.
EDIT: I will be moving my computer into a fractal define R3 when I get the time, so length will be less of a concern.

while 99% of the time they are trustworthy, I would still rather get the cards new.

all depends if you want 3 monitors or not

then the 6950 would be your best long term investment

I would probably grab one of the 2 6950 2gb reference design and flash it to 6970 speed. Since you stated eyefinity and multimon setup the lower 1gb of vram on both the AMD and 560 will cause a performance drop if you are going to go multi. If you just plan on gaming on 1 monitor at say 1920 or less then the 1gb shouldnt be a problem then I would jump on to the 560ti.
So single gaming monitor=560ti or the 1gb 6950 but I would favor the nV drivers.
Gaming on a higher res and/or multimon setup try to get yourself a 2gb card to future proof, I would favor the 6950 (I know you said you were not willing to flash but if you did get a reference 69502gb you could at least try, but that is just what I would do.)

ya, not immediately, but I plan to go to either 3 or 4 monitors eventually.
ok, so go with the XFX 2GB 6950 with a single fan?

Newegg.ca - XFX HD-695X-CNFC Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

That the one you looking at?

Yeah sorry I hate searching at NCIX, NE is much easier. Anyway nice card IMO not a bad price after rebate, lifetime warranty not reference but then again you didnt want to flash to 6970.
Should work just fine for you and if you want to go Xfire when you do go mutlimonitor there should be plenty of used 6950 then.
