you won't find anything powerful for a 1x pci-e
because the bandwidth is too limited to provide for anything too powerful

that motherboard has an AGP slot though

the most powerful card you can get for it as AGP (done from highest to lowest)
is a ATI 4670, next is ati 3850, ati 4650, nvidia 7950 gt, ati x1900 xt

well that put me down memory lane...

wait thought it had agp slot

anyways if thats the case...you can use a standard PCI-e video card
theres nothing stopping you from using whatever you want in there

id get a cheap nvidia card that supports cuda, the 8800gt example is good (i still use one, great for video and still runs any game)

as long as your psu can handle it ( 20amps @ 12v ) ish

We'll need more information to know if a GPU upgrade is what you need:

What do you need the higher performance for?
If you game, what is your resolution?
What OS are you running?
What is the make and model for the following: CPU, RAM (+ amount of RAM), primary hard drive, power supply, case, current video card

A Radeon 3450 is barely better than modern integrated graphics for gaming, but if all you need is blu-ray playback it should be fine.
