My System Specs

Default need info: 6950 flash to 6970.

My friend asked me today about getting a graphics card for him. After talking about what he wanted, he decided on a 6850 the same card I have. I told him I would sell him the 6850 I just bought for 150.

Now I'm just wondering which 6950's are able to be flashed to a 6970 as i've read that many of them cannot be. I know for sure it has to be a 2gb card but are there certain ones?

Also, if someone could direct me to a site that has them for a decent price, or if anyone is looking to get rid of theirs that would be awsome.

Thanks a bunch.

You need an older rev 1.1 or older 2GB card AFAIK. Not sure if any are still being made or not.

So my best bet would be to buy one from someone selling... thank you!

Any idea what a good price for a used 6950 would be?

$230 - $250 for an unlocked one I'd say.
