My System Specs

Question looking for a gpu upgrade in the near future

i have a i3 530 not oced but will when i get a new gpu

corsair 850w psu

i have a 4850 right now and i us it to connect my lcd for when watching my xbmc and my computer lcd for gaming

i play at 1920x1080

what would be a good card should i get a 570 ?? or is that to much card for my cpu?

or should i wait for the next gpu update from both parties then pick

what i play right now is star craft 2

what i want to gear up for is witcher 2 dues ex human revolution diablo 3 battlefield 3 and oblivion

do both nvidia 5 series and ati output to 2 monitors at the same time ?

hmm....6950 1gb?

in several months there will be more choice i hear,but right now,id say the above.
that or a 560,look at what specials you can get.but dont forget,not all games
maxed out will be playable at your rez...

its seems like the gtx 560 vs the 560ti are very similar

Does you current GPU does all you want it to do ? If yes, then there is no hurry, If not well GTX 560ti or the 6950 are both good choices. Personelly, I rather buy a mid-end card and change it more often but that just me...

I tend to agree with what's already been stated. A GeForce 560 gtx/ti or Radeon 6950 1GB would allow you to max out pretty much everything (Metro 2033 excluded).

I was in a similar situation. After much research I went with the 570. It seems to be the best bang for your buck at that price point plus theres a $40 MIR right now.
