Default Which video connecter to Monitor?

With two video cards there are 4 DVI connections to the monitor. Two on each card. Which one do you plug the monitor into? The top card or bottom card? The connection on the right or left of the card? Nvidia cards. Does it matter where you plug in the monitor?

IIRC, you plug into the card in your 1st PCI-E slot (closest to the i/o shield). It depends on the card which is the primary display connection. You'll probably just have to try them.

Thanks guys, I do have a dual link cable. I never really had a problem with the inputs,I just wondered why there are two inputs on each card and which one to use. There must have been a reason to give a choice etc. Thanks again.
