Default is there a

definative numbering system chart for the radeons?
im looking at getting this today
Sapphire Radeon HD 6790 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort at Memory Express Computers

but i found this on kijiji

HD6790 is slower than HD6870. So as long as you don't mind buying off Kijiji, then grab the HD6870.

i have a 32" lg tv as a monitor and cant run crazy resolutions.
i am more or less just looking for a dx 11 card at a decent price i wont have to upgrade for a while

and thanks dangtx thats what i was looking for

and i have a saphire 4890 i bought off of kijiji a few months ago that will get transfered to the old ladys machine.
buddy just replied to an email and said he would let one go for $150 and ill have a look for signs of it being used as he states its bnib.

anybody have expeirence with visiontek?

on the cheap there was like a 40 dollar 5770,15 bucks shipping i think in hot deals.

else, dont cheap out :p why?

well buddy just dropped it off.
i asked him why he never used them and he said there was a online pricing error and he bought 4 used one and sold the rest.
just unboxed it and it is brand spankin new
