and you have to use the modded 6950 bios, this way you cant kill crap. in the remote event you mess it up, switch to second bios, flash original,das it

mmkay then... now if I were to buy a reference card, what brand should I go with? Asus, XFX, Giga?

I went with XFX because they are very lenient when it comes to their warranty.
They let you replace the stock cooler with aftermarket without voiding the warranty.
It's a modding friendly manufacturer from the looks of it.

the cheapest you can find. they are all the same, minus the sticker and what the bios reads(sapphire,xfx,etc)

I went with this card because I've been convinced that unlocking it is the best way to go:

and hopefully in the future, I can pick up a 2nd on the cheap for CFX!

It should stay nice and cool and quiet in my FT-02

I'm a bit disappointed that those MSI Lightning 6970s haven't showed up as promised. I was planning on getting two, but they eventually lost my sales to the competition.
