Graphic card Sapphire Radeon HD 5830 Game Edition

I bought the HD 5830 for my new computer and I place the graphic card at the Blue PCi-Express 16x. The computer work but nothing on my screen. I use the DVI connection and try on the two DVi connection and nothing screen stay black.

Anyone can help me ???

Asus P7P55 LX
8go of ram
western digital Black cavier 500go
PSU 1250 watt SLI/Crossfire rdy

I connect the two power cable from PSU to graphic card and nothing but my fan work on my card but nothing on my screen and you post the picture of my motherboard the P7P55 LX

As dan suggested, try your card in the black slot.

try it and same the fan on my graphic card work but nothing on my screen I pay $227 for this card

go to bios, see about the vga initialization. put pci before peg, had that issue once or twice.

or auto if not already set.

do you get video with another card, begs the question? :)

I try with my EVGA 8800 gts and start my computer and screen stay black I can't eneter the bios if not see the image :P so I doN,t no now how I can resolve my problem

Could be a dead board or a dead PCI-e lane, won't know until you test it more or give us more info.

ok so this is potentially not a gpu issue.

do you have the ram plugged in, properly?


if yes, all the power connectors on the motherboard are in the proper places properly hooked up?
