NCIX.com - Buy Coolermaster Elite Power 400W ATX Power Supply 12V V2.3 20/24PIN 120MM Fan - COOLERMASTER - RS400-PSARJ3-US - in Canada

would this be a good power supply to get? i just looked at mine and realized that it doesnt even have a pci-e 6pin connector

and would my cpu be good enough with a 8800gt to get good frame rates in mw2?

Yes, and yes. Even though, the 16A per 12v rail is kind of weak it's more than enough for the 8800gt.

Edit: just to clarify, u cant say a certain setup will get good fps in a certain game. It all comes down to what settings/resolution you play at. Ofc, even older systems can play the newest games on minimum fps at like 800x480 with decent fps and even much more expensive purpose built gaming PCs might not be able to handle all games at like 3x 2560x1600 maxed out with 16aa and all... but the 8800gt should be able to handle MW2 at decent fps in sub 1080p maxed out (excluding aa/af) just fine!

My 8800 is still working great, I'm using it but was going to upgrade. I had it listed for $50 but could probly ship it for that much. You will need a power supply tho. Interested?
