Only on the first few runs of drivers though, after the GSOD fiasco they've pretty much fixed all the major issues and moved on to actually improving performance.

The only issue I've had with my 6970 is scaling issues in CCC. It's an easy fix, but for some reason with my Samsung monitor it defaults at 75% scaled when have to remove the card.

Other than that - it runs well. I've not had a chance to check out the 6xx nvidea series, but my past experiences with the green team have not been the greatest.

Well, the results from the poll should be live to everyone now! What's interesting is that in the last 3 days of voting, the number of nvidia problems increase a bit faster than the first 5-6 days of voting, so initially ATI was looking MUCH worse than nvidia! It still shows that out of a sample of OVER 50 people, ATI runs into drivers and performance issues more than Nvidia.

Is this enough tipping on the scale for you to pay the Nvidia tax?
