Default 84C Full Load normal for 5770 Ref Cooler?

I burnt my damned finger!!!

Anyways I know what you are thinking, MSI afterburner. Last time I used that I remember It would boot up my PC and the fan would be on 100%! How do I fix it?

Also is that temp normal?

My System Specs

Default

If your airflow in the case is not optimal yes this can happen. It's a bit high but IMO nothing to stress with. You could try making your own fan profile to make it turn a bit faster if you can handle the noise.

Could we have system spec and card model please? Some screen shot might help as well as dan prescribe.

well, I have a haf 922, and my cable management is like 95% perfect.
I've had the card for like maybe 8 months.
Other thing is, CCC has a different temp reading than GPU-Z

It's been fine for 8 months, and I have a life time warrenty so I dont really care ahah.

BTW is the batmobile cooler ahah.

WAIT WAIT WAIT... Its actally 82C max at 23C ambient.
I remember hitting like 87C in furmark when it was 26 or 27C ambient temp last summer.

Its weird, so GPUZ says 82 FULL LOAD
BUT FurMark/CCC says 66 FULL LOAD

either way, 87 isn't dangerously bad really. not optimal, but not dangerous.
