My System Specs

Default What's a Fair Price?

Hey Guys and Gals, I'm most likely going to be buying myself a new MSI 560ti in the next few days and I'm curious as to what you think my current EVGA GTX 275SC would be worth. This card was recently taken apart and fully cleaned with new IC7 paste installed. It also comes with a EVGA backplate. This card overclocked to the EVGA FTW specs easily and has happily been folding at stock speeds since I bought it. Let me know a fair price to sell it at.

Thanks HWC.

$100 should be enough. Anymore and it's not worth it imo.

I always check the net to see what the going retail price is, then I'll sell it for a bit less than that. Always CLEAN the card, make sure there is no dust whatsoever and take some GOOD QUALITY PICS with a good explanation of your product.

The problem with that is his particular card is discontinued, and can not be found in retail. It's also 2 generations old.

And I'd guess that $100 number is about all you'd get from educated buyers. Add $15-20 to current 260 selling numbers.

Those GTX275 are RARE...I mean, you see a lot of GTX260s and GTX285s...but the 275...RARE (same shader count as 285, but with 896mo memory)

So, my theory is that somebody MIGHT be looking for another one for SLI...so you MIGHT get a little more than $100 for it...I'd say $120 to $140....

Just because it might be a supply/demand thing....

Regardless, the longer you hold onto it the more it depreciates.

Great idea, or while your selling it use it as a PhysX card for the time being.
