Supa nice review Sky!
It's kind funny to see how the brand that were the premium before are now...just popular. Just look at the MSI, before it was crap, now it's an awesome piece of hardware that oustand with the hawk fan and have a incredible OC. EVGA is still awesome for service but they shoud definatly tjink of making card with a hihger end fan to achieve better stock OC.

the one thing that gets me is that reading these good reviews he on the site it always ..always temps me to upgrade again .

I have always wondered about cards like this that come overcloced or Superclocked, I would think that the life expectancy of the card would drop a fair amount, but I guess it woulkdn't matter to most opeople on these board becasue we usually are up grading our hardware on average every 5 months lol.

Nice review. I think I will pick up either the Gigabyte or the Asus GTX 560Ti. Should make a nice PhysX card and a nice addition to Folding. Main reason I want these ones is because they have the PSU connectors on the top of the card. With the HAF X and the GPU shroud on, the connectors on the end make it difficult for the shroud to fit and also hinder air flow from the shroud.

Nice review, Sky! These cards are really ahead of the old GTX480/470/465 heaters, as a second-gen of video card series should be.
What case fan setup do you have in the test rig? (I would've thought the Giga would've become louder than the case fans at load)

I actually use an open test bench with a pair of Scythe Slip Streams running at 1600RPM.

Hmm... The price of that card's going up it seems - I saw it at $242 at release (DirectCanada).

Damn.......

I always check DC on it's own (usually the first place I go) because it generally doesn't show up on shopbot. For some reason I missed the step this time around and it cost me $5+.....

MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr OC 880MHZ 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI Mini-HDMI DX11 PCI-E Video Card - DirectCanada

Ah well.... c'est la vie.

I use shopbot.ca and pricebat.ca, one or the other always comes up with DC... Used to be able to just google the product and click "more shopping sites" on the left side of the results page, but they took that away. Also heard they're censoring words like "torrent". Damn google!?!
