My System Specs

Default 2 6870's or 2 gtx 460

If you owned both pairs which one would you run? they are close performance correct?

ok well i dont know now if i should buy 2 evga gtx 460 superclocked 1024mb the price i think is right $280 for the pair i already own 2 6870's but wanted the gtx to fold on them i have other pc's to run folding. im probably still buying

if not, just get one 6950.2gb of course.

but if you want to fold,then a 560.

I already own 2 6870's just crossfired them last week but im just getting into folding and am kinda hardware junkie have 13 cores folding and 2 8800gts plus a ps3 and one of my 6870 so i was going to buy the 460's used for $280 switch out for my 8800gt's. gpu's give most points correct more than smp client? or ps3?

cool. the ps3 is brutal in ppd/kwh last i checked.

the g92 ones are ok'ish,well not tha great considered the new cards.

bigadv on i7 is the best ppd'er, and also the best ppd/kwh

for gpus, well it depends.

ok i have a 2600k and a amd quad plus a lowly single core about to fire up a 2400 h67 maybe i might sell it i think just the 2 cards will be good. that sucks i have the fat old ps3 too 200w :(

oh the 2600k will work wonders on them performance numbers.

yeah, its good to out put, but at that wattage? id shut it off lol.

nvidia is better with sli, you get more from their driver performance
