nothing against sapphire but the only cards i have had die early deaths on me in the last 5 years were saphire cards. And i am a big fan of xfx so my choice would be clear here good luck on your buy.

I'd say stretch a bit, you can't go wrong with a 560Ti or a 6950 1G.
Worth it.

Decided to go ahead with this:
Newegg.ca - ASUS EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

Read many reviews, the Asus overclocks well and tests to have the lowest noise levels, temperatures , and power consumption - even when overclocked.

Should be here by the end of the week
After a few months (maybe tax return season) I'll get another for crossfiring
