Between the Asus HD6950 DCII and MSI HD6950 Twinfrozr II and the powercolor HD6950 PCS++;
Asus is the best overclocker and quietest. However 3 slots and a mild overclock out of the box means you got to have a suitable motherboard and the will to get messy with the card.
MSI already has a Twinfrozr III cooler on the HD 6870. Why they settles with the II is beyond me. Good card nonetheless.
Powercolor guarantees "unlocking to HD6970" by a switch. Cool and silent but less so than Asus

The has been a Twin frozr III card seen at the show CES in california a few weeks back...I think it was a 6970 tho...it's not out on the market yet....

Slight thread revival = Long story short, I'm still looking for my next AMD GPU... Why oh Why can't these non-ref cards come in stock somewhere...
OH! And why can't someone make a non-reference card that still exhausts out the back? Is is that difficult? Some copper here, some heatpipes there, a slightly larger fan... Done?
