I already have the case for two of those 3-slot monsters if need be
Are you still using one of those mountain mod cubic case?

My Coolermaster ATCS 840 probably could gob two of these 3-slots cards, but it would be really tight between the cards.... (regular P45 mobo FOR NOW)..

The thing is, those DIRECTcuII will be expensive!

back in stock now. I think I just found the card I need to complete the build I've been working on!

although, I would like to see a hardware roundup of all 6950s (2gb cards specifically)

I got a Sapphire 6950 2GB yesterday, awesome even with reference cooler. Runs at 56 degrees celcius in Kombustor, and maxes out crysis at 1920*1080 completely.
2 of them in Xfire would fly...

The more I read on the HD6950 Crossfire setup, the more I like it...
As time goes by, I'm getting closer and closer to receiving my tax return....

I consider that MAYBE I should get two of those, along with a 120hz LCD 1080P...on my existing Q9550 @ 3.6GHz/P5Q Pro/4GB...and get bulldozer or Ivy next year....

the scaling is supposed to be close to 100%,
I was wavering between 2 5830s, but I went for the 6950, and i dont see why you would need more unless you are gaming at 2560*1600 or are running eyefinity. Crysis is running natural mod maxed completely. Only dips under 25 fps with aliens and when I test exploding barrel physics. I anticipate it will go higher when I add more ram, as I am running on 2gb till i get my other set (see system specs)
