scaling depends on the cards and resolution used, cpu, ram/bus speeds to a degree,

and of course chipset.

id say its pretty good. factoring in the difference between platforms.

basically all you need is the dual or more pci-e slot design. and usually those slots have to

be connected together, like to the same chipset. on the one board.

software permitting? i havent had trouble.

and i used the older ways wayy before. much more trouble then now.

now all you got to do is click a few times.

it really gets to me when i see a guy get rid of his board and getting another one

thats been certified for sli...why spend more, even before giving it a crack? lol.

Perhaps someone with a Q9450 (or another x4 955 equivalent [ish]) and SLI GTX 470's could post results for Heaven?
It'd be cool to see this, plus perhaps someone with an i5 or i7 system doing a bench as well. I know my 955 is limiting these cards, but I'd love to see just how much more the 470's can stretch their legs on a newer CPU.

Can't see the rest of your settings, but google led me to this:

i7 920 3.8Ghz
GTX 470 SLI 800/1540/1700
FPS 78.7
Score 1984

That's only 8.6% faster than your Phenom II (assuming same settings)
