ok guys i purchased a gamepad from best direct that was discontinued so now i have some credit with them and am thinking about slightly upgrading my gpu setup as i need a little more power from my graphics card.
currently i am using a PC 512mb 5670 and its for gaming at 1360 by 768. It run most games that i play 100% with the exception of crysis warhead and massive sandbox games like GTA. my goal be able to run any game at 1360 by 768 with 100% settings.
I was origninally going to(still might) purcahse this saphire 5670 for 75$ to run a crossfire setup
Buy SAPPHIRE [11168-02-20R] Sapphire Radeon HD 5670 775MHZ 512MB 4GHZ PCI-E VGA DVI HDMI Lite Retail Video Card but i jsut recently came across a 4830 for 60$ that i feel might get the job done even cheaper without crossfire
Buy PowerColor [AX4830 512MD3] Powercolor Radeon HD 4830 575MHZ 512MB 1.4GHZ GDDR3 VGA HDMI DVI PCI-E Video Card
i'm pretty sure that 4830 would smoke all games at the res but i wonder if downgrading in direct X is gonig to not make it worth it. Heck at 60$ for that power i'm tempted to even buy two and crossfire 4830's. Am i crazy? should i stick with 2 5670's and keep Dx 11, lower power consumtion.
what do you think?
