I paid $550.00 each, no duty and free shipping. I don't know where they are being shipped from and I don't know who makes the cards for Dell. The order confirmation email I received just says A4412226 GE Force GTX 580 DDR5 1.5G .Dell said that the warranty for the cards would be as per the warranty of my Area 51 which is 3 years provided of course, that they be installed ONLY on my Alienware.

I just ordered the superclocked version for 510.00$ from newegg.ca . The card is coming from warehouse 7 in California. TigerDirect also has the card in stock. I've tried to get an ETA out of NCIX but they couldn't help me out. So Newegg it is!.

Alienware gets all their cards directly from Nvidia, so they come unbranded. Nvidia is starting to sell direct in boxes now too. So no biggie. It just doesnt have some brands sticker slapped on it.

I wish all cards came this way. Decals always make the cards look uglier.

He's happy with his purchases and experience with Dell/Alienware. I don't understand why a few of you continue to razz him over this every time it comes up.

Not really what I was intending to do. I think Dell has cleaned up the service issues Alienware had, and the price hes paying for the 580's sounds really good. I, and many others have always considered alienware the "Monster cables" of the computer industry but maybe thats not fair... Sounds like that has changed, would be great if they started selling parts if they are that competitive.

You can't see the decals unless your looking at bottom side.....top is PCB (mine have very cool looking backplates).....I actually like the look of some of the decals....very cool...

What kind of Warranty you get with nv unbranded from Alien?
