Does this card have sound via HDMI?

Does this card push sound through it's HDMI like nvidia cards?

The page you linked to shows that the card has 7.1 audio as one of the features. It's one of the big round blue links in the third row.

Ah thanks, is it possible with this card to mute the sound coming out of it you think and just use my sound card instead?

Edit: Wait...If I used this on my tv I would need to change my speakers input anyways so yea it would work that way.

wow. 7.1 and audio through hdmi are 2 different things... Blu all new cards with the HDMI out are capable of broadcasting audio through it. If you cant get it to work there is a real tek audio driver that you may need.

The drivers are included w/ CCC. Do you use any sort of receiver? Either way this card can bitstream unlike almost all Nvidia cards except for the 430/450/460/580.

Nope, for my HTPC I'll just be going RCA output from that to my sony speakers and then RCA output from my TV to my sony speakers for normal cable watching.

I didn't mean otherwise. He asked if the card supported audio through HDMI and I pointed to the fact that the card was listed as having 7.1 audio as a feature, implying that indeed audio was supported through HDMI, not just 7.1 audio. Perhaps I should have been more clear, but I wasn't trying to say he'd only be able to get 7.1 audio and nothing else.
