8800 GTS 320: Sparkle vs eVGA vs BFG vs XFX

So after reading up on the GeForce 8800 GTS, i've decided to get the 320MB version over the 640MB because it's cheaper and performance is about the same. Plus there are rumors of nVIDIA dropping the 640MB version in spring when the 8600 series comes out.

So my delima is what manufacturer of card to choose from.
Here are my choices. If any of you have had experience with any of these manufacturers before let me know good or bad.

XFX GeForce 8800 GTS - $358.04 (after $22.00 MIR)
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS - $404.17
eVGA GeForce 8800 GTS - $359.99 (after $20.00 MIR)
Sparkle GeForce 8800 GTS - $396.27

I got the prices from NCIX as this is where I will be getting the card from.

I think that if you're running Vista and are looking forward to playing dx10 games this year, you'd be better off playing the 8800gts 640mb-- the extra ram will really pay off-- the 8600 coming out may have higher clock speed but if you tweak your 8800gta 640 at all (which is easily done), there's not really any difference-- and you can get it for about 430 (and dropping).

In the past for NVidia cards, I've only had either BFG or EVGA, and I find EVGA to be very good service, and they're on the low end of the price scale

I'm with Babrbarossa, EVGA makes excellent quality cards and offers the best service and warranty.

BFG Fanboi over here. I've been very happy with their support in the past. I'm a little miffed at eVGA over the problems I had with the 680i board...

yeha-- but I'm not sure they bear the brunt of the balme- and they are responding appropriately to the issues.

All I can say from experience is that Evga has great customer service coupled with the lifetime warranty and the quality of the cards themselves. I've been tempted to buy BFG now and again but it was the price and previous Evga experience I've enjoyed that kept me with Evga. And don't forget that you also have three months to upgrade your card too.

I'll be sticking with the Geforce 8800 GTS 640MB...love it.
