new video card for 130$?

A Radeon 5770 1Gb could also be a great option as far as upgrades go, I picked up a used one for $75 a few months ago and it kicks the hell out of the GeForce 8600GT that it replaced. New ones can be found for less than $130 and it's still faster than a GTS 450 1GB for gaming purposes.

I think I'm going to derail my own thread right now... My first post said no cross-fire, no sli since my current mobo only has 1 gpu slot.
If I was to get a gtx460, and a mobo with 2 PCI-e slots. Could I SLI the GTX460 and my current 8800gt? Or would I be wasting money on a new mobo and wasting my time on setting it all up for a little improvement over having only the GTX460?

current setup
Motherboard: Gigabyte EP45-DS3L
Processor: E5200 @ 3.25ghz
Memory: 4 gig ocz gold 800mhz
Video: XFX 8800 GT Alpha Dog
OS: Win 7 32 bit

you can sli/cf two of a kind/family.

you need 2 pci-e slots, some are 4x others 8x and others 16x. there will be differences, not stellar though.

You can't SLI a GTX460 and an 8800GT. They are of two different families of cards. You could Make the 460 Dedicated video and 8800GT dedicated PhysX however.
