No it isn't bad at all, thats a good deal, I hear good and bad points on the 3870. I like to try it out. But I have a BFG 8800 GT 512MB OC card.
hmm, but the new cards come out next month as well. There could be a new ATI card come out to well maybe.

yycraven: I've heard rumors of issues with the Sapphire variants of the 3870s

SKYMTL: I'll have to check that out.

bigpino: Yep it does suck we aren't on the same shift anymore but as we discussed today, let me know on Thursday what you want to order.

Hey Balistx if you want I have a 3 blue LED 120 mm Antec Tri-Cool fans from my Ninehundred which I don't need (I switched 'em for red ones).

They are just sitting on the shelf right now and I'm sure I could give you a great deal...since I hate to see them just sit there and go to waste!

zlojack: pm sent.

yycraven: LOL I'm like a kid too when it comes to computers. I got a buddy who's going to order 2 of the HIS 3870s before I get mine, he's going to run them in crossfire. I'll get him to post his benchmarks once he gets his rig built. Once I get mine built I'll post mine.
