QFT ^^^^

I find items shipped from BC are processed and shipped out the door post-haste. The issue for me is that most are now shipped from ON and take an extra day or two to get out the door.

Took me a bit of digging but I found where XFX Support explicitly states we can change the cooler on cards registered for North American warranty:
[H]ard|Forum - View Single Post - New XFX 6850 Heatsink Design

"The North American warranty covers removing the cooler for third party coolers and replacing thermal paste. The cards are made for our entire global market so the stickers are on every card but it is allowed in the North American warranty to remove the cooler. The warranty information that ships with the cards describes it on the first page in the third or fourth paragraph. Basically, we do not recommend removing the cooler for any reason but we understand that the enthusiast crowd will want to and it is allowed."
Well this is definitely good news. I would have never bought another XFX card if it were actually the case.

All my orders have been from BC and they are always slow as mules. I can count one one hand the amount of times the order has shipped the same day. This over the 7-8 years I have been purchasing from them. It almost always unfortunately takes 2-3 days for them to process my order.

Was just at the Aberdeen NCIX, and they didn't accept the price match. However, they offered me $299, which I declined.

That is pretty lame. I did two separate orders and they accepted it each time.

Probably online.. they accept pretty much anything from Newegg.ca and DirectCanada.com online. I mostly always do that since 75% they have some stuff cheaper, but other are greatly Overpriced so i PM with both those sites..
