I have been reading reviews and asking opinions for about a week or so, finally i came to a conclusion that i have to choose between gts 450 or gts 250, both video cards come with 128 bit bus and 1 Gb, are these cards any good ?

What games are you playing and what resolution do you play at? What processor do you have?

The GTS 250 is faster in the tests I've seen but if you want DX11 support go for the GTS 450. BTW, the GTS 250 has a 256bit memory bus.

Phenom 2 Unlocked to x3 currently at 3.3 ghz .

I usually play games at 1280x1024, Crysis Warhead and Crysis, Dirt 2, GTA4, those are my favourites .

The question now is : Should i gather more money and buy a gtx 460 ?

460 is a really good card, if you willing to spend the extra money, go for it. If not 450 is your best bet.

If you can afford the 450, I say pony up a little extra cash and get a GTX 460 768mb. It's only $20-30 more expensive and you'll get much better performance.

But if you had to pick between those 2, I'd say get the 450.

It honestly doesn't make sense to even look at the memory bandwidth of the card in your situation. At that low of a resolution, core/shader clocks are a much bigger factor. In fact performance between the 3 different GTX 460's would theoretically be identical for you. Now of course if you plan on a significant monitor upgrade that would be a different story. But since you're aiming fairly low on the GPU selection, I would assume you wouldn't be aiming higher than 1680x1050 on the monitor end. (which is still a low enough resolution for low memory bandwidth cards)
