Where did you find an Asus GTX 580 for $499?!
I looked on shopbot.ca and the closest one I think is by PNY at NCIX... =/

Nothing wrong with grabbing a PNY card. They are really good too (Company and Customer Service).

Those evga 580SC's have been "in stock" all week at the Egg....still showing "not in stock" at NCIX and no word from them "when"..ordered last Monday.

My gripe with NCIX over GPU ordering is the fact that Evga requires you to Register the Cards within 30 days of the day of purchase..........NCIX charges the amount immediately to your credit card and then you sit in limbo waiting, while the 30 day clock is ticking......I've repeatedly advised NCIX that they shouldn't charge the Account until the Cards are in and ship!!!....should be in Rants I guess ....pita as I have to go out of town next week ...so won't be around IF they show up.....

I gave NCIX the wrong CC# (not on purpose) and had to phone them to change it. This was the first time I was billed the same day the card shipped out :D

Can't wait for a water block though. I forgot how loud gfx cards are.

I got the MSI card, mostly for the free games. Anyone need a Mafia 2 key?

You can get them to re-issue the Invoice if it goes beyond the 30 days. I had to do that.

^^^ Thanks Soul....once it gets to around 3 weeks I start "pushing" NCIX buttons....really for items that are back ordered they should simply "hold" and "charge" once shipped.....

The "free game" promos are a bit behind the times.....offering games that are at least 6 months old, most of us have em, played em and finished em.....

Great offer to fellow Members on Mafia II, I actually received my free code from a fellow Evga Forum Member quite awhile ago...great game btw....

Still can't believe they didn't include Black Ops with the Black Ops edition Card
