No idea how he managed to put his Bridge on backwards...obviously it possible with the 4x Bridges and he managed to find it,,,,,,cannot believ it took 8 pages of Post and a few Evga Support Techs trying to help him out....someone asked him right at the beginning to try a different Si Bridge...that should have twigged him to ensure it was on properly....huh.....

Everything should run fine for him......he posted a Vantage run of P51K.....very poor scaling at x4......most of us are hitting P42K - P45K with x2 480's !

could be cu limited, question is, is it really worth it, at least for gaming purposes, to go over dual cards in either sli or crossfire?

from what i see so far, the little gains are only good if you dont care about extra cash in the machine

imho ...presently GTX 480 / 580 in Tri SLi or Quad SLi is not needed for anything but Benching, although I'm sure Tri SL would help with multi monitor or 2560 x 1600 Res.....

His 51K score was with a 980X @ stock (3.33 Ghz)....I think.

Yeah, Vantage P settings are a bit long in the tooth, it'll be nice when 3dmark 11 comes out. Personally, I think a good 3d benchmark shouldn't separately assess the CPU, Heaven is a good example. But it's not a great representation of the future of gaming, really just of tesselation

quad sli, or quad xfire never scaled well, no surprising news here

Actually, after a PM from Falcon....his GPU's are not OC'd and his CPU's are only @ 3.8Ghz........he's actually now hitting P55K....once he OC's those puppies and pushes his CPU he'll be P60k + .........nice.

I think Kruzins Blackwidow was pushing P60K as well. Some of the 580 Scores are starting to trickle in...
