Default Worthy Upgrade?

Hi Folks,

Presently I have the following setup;

Q6700
4 gig of ddr2 ram
ati 4850 512 mb card
4 x 1 TB hard drrive
windows 7 home

I am wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade to the 460 Hawk card. I remember reading somewhere that this card can run neck and neck with a gtx 470. Presently I play alot of TF2 but am branching off to more demanding games. Any advice is more than welcomed.

Here is a link to the card:

a 6870 would do you fine, if not great, im planning on getting one of those, with possibilities of a second down the line

it will do.

i would go for a 6850/6870 though. better power figures, more bang per dollar spent.

If you monitor isn't too big than this will do just fine and EVGA is excellent for customer service.
NCIX.com - Buy EVGA GeForce GTX 460 Fermi 675MHZ 768MB GDDR5 Dual DVI Mini-HDMI PCI-E DX11 Video Card - 768-P3-1360-TR In Canada.

Can't beat $154.

I'm also still running a 4850 and considering an upgrade. I have a crossfire board so I'm leaning towards a 5850 at the moment as prices come down (one now, one later perhaps), but I have to admit the 460's are an appealing choice as well, especially if you have the option to SLI them down the road.
