They just don't update Xfire profile very often. One time per month is not enough if you are gamer.......

Geforce SLI has much faster response for updating their profile, and second alternate is EVGA SLI profile if you can not find SLI profile in new game

Let's just say that the lead-up to the Christmas shopping season will be VERY interesting this year with great looking products coming from both camps.
Is there something GOOD ENOUGH coming up to bother replacing my HD5870?

If you don't game much, CF is more cost effective in any way,

No offense, One 6870 is more than enough , if you are not serious gamer or running eyefinity

Folks are starting accuse AMD of cheating with the AF again, and claiming that the 6800 series AF is worse than the 460 and 5000 series.

Well, we were having a discussion over at [H]ard.

AMD degraded AF quality with 68xx launch! - [H]ard|Forum

Half the links the TC provided are in german, seemingly pull numbers out of their arse, or don't bother to actually show what they're talking about. The only clear thing is the shimmering effect.

There are similar accusations on other sites, but meh......

Really, though anyone will loath to admit it, that topic is something to fuel the patriotism of die hard Nvidia "fans." They act as if they're offended by results, and claim the consumer is being deceived; yet, ironically, most of the disgruntled members just so happen to own Nvidia products.

Most reviewers, honestly, will tell you that it's hard to discern the differences in AF.
