My System Specs

Default Time to save for a new Video Card
I looking at saving up for a new XFX HD6870 Video card to replace my 9800 GT.

What do you guys think of that choice ?

Sounds pretty good, a 9800GT is pretty dated now, its performance is somewhere close to a 4850, so you should be seeing a pretty huge performance increase with a 6870.

good choice, although id go for a 180 dollar 6850 and oc it to 6870 levels :)

well he is getting an E6700which will be quite on the oc menu, so he should be ok, especially if he plays at higher resolutions
