Any trifire or quad in those tests sky? With these low prices I'm thinking such configurations will become more popular

Considering these cards don't support more than dual card setups, that would be a bit hard, yes? ;)

Great review. I'm looking forward to the 6800 vs. 460 comparison.

Yea, an EVGA 460 768mb Superclock is going for 164.99 after rebate with 2 free games... Still undecided as to going with that or the 6850.

In order to stay in the same price bracket as what I paid for my 4890, I need to consider only the 6850, which based on the graph you showed me(at 1920x1200) translates into a 15% increase. Its nothing bad, but I guess I'd expect a little more considering the "2"(feels more like 1Ĺ) generation change.

It does all that requiring one pin though. That was something I hoped the GTX 460 would do, and the 6850 beats that. Plus, it has that new AA morphology crap.

If only that was Canadian newegg.ca pricing, that'd be hot deal.
Best price I've found for a 470 is $253, getting there, so an extra $20ish after a MIR is not entirely out of the question?

unless you're stuck with one already, not sure getting 'old' stuff be worth it. unless its a crazy deal, read 199 or so no rebates

Folks are now talking about certain reviewers getting 6850 models with 1120 shaders as opposed to 960.

HD 6850 with 1120 shaders went to reviewers
