The top one idles at about 50. The bottom one is a little hotter in the low 50s since it's got a sound card right up against it below. I haven't checked at load yet but I imagine something in the 80s given the reference cooler design.

Nice 470 score! Your superior CPU probably helped, too.

The PC puts out visibly more heat now though versus my old single 5870. :)

For the Asus HD 6870, it says the cover is aluminium. So the WHOLE shroud (the WHOLE black cover) is aluminium instead of plastic??????
