My System Specs

Default gtx460 SLI enabling it

I just installed one more gtx460
in nvidia setting, i dont see anything like "enable SLI"
I see multi/mix gpu, single gpu, compatability mode
it's in multi/mix gpu
I ran heaven benchmark, everything maxed(settings), scored 479 when I had single gtx460, scored 470 something with two... so....
when I was rebooting computer I did see small nvidia system tray saying SLI enabled but nvidia icon quickly disappeared in few seconds
Driver is latest, though I did not reintall it after putting in one more 460

my nv box is down for the while, but it is indeed in the nv control thingie. i think rj has a recent screen with his sli'd 480's of the setup page.

Right click on your desktop and go into nvcp.....it should have a "Set PhysX and SLi" option...go into that and set to SLi...leave PhysX on nv recomended....Reboot your Rig and all should be good (as in superior Heaven run compared to single GPU).....

What Driver version are you using? The new 260.xx Beta Driver requires an additional Reboot to access nvcp.

Setting up SLi really is bullet-proof....no need to re-install Drivers after installing your 2nd Card.
Make sure your Bridge is on the Connectors closest to the Rear of your Case.

Pictures are way easier ;)

Huh....odd....what Driver version? Yes, just leave your 2nd Card (perhaps re-seat it and make sure its installed properly), then "clean install" of either 258.96 WHQL or 260.xx Beta....
