Default Diamond 4870x2 no screen

I installed my 4870x2 and it powers on, the fan spins, however i do not get any screen. It does not show any red LED, which means there is no power problem or card problem. Can someone direct me what to do. Thanks

Regards

Xin

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. MY system specs is:

i7 860
Asus p7p55D premium
8gig g.skill trident turbulence
Antec TPQ-850 TruePower Quattro 850W

I have used the powersupply in a crossfire 5870 mode, so it should supply sufficient power. The 4870x2 (i have two of them) one of the works fine. The other one turned on once, and i used to watch video. Then it froze and shut off, and i never was able to turn it back on again.

ok so with another gpu it works fine?

then you know your problem. see if its overheating, aka the fan doesn;t turn, or the hs is loose(shouldnt be but you never know) maybe something is shorting out(piece of tinfoil from chocolate fell in there? )

Yea the fan turns, and it powers on without any error indication from the card. Just have no screen for some reason.

Have you tried both DVI ports? I know sometimes my card refuses to display out of a certain port.
