+1. The 768mb gtx 460 is the only card that seems to be having good sale prices. Its a bit faster than an hd 5770 as well. My brother grabbed the same deal for one (125 with some games included).

If you can't afford the extra few bucks that the 460 costs, then the 450/5770 is still going to be fine at your resolution...wait for some kind of sale.

Did they get the one at NCIX that had like $100 of free games? I was deciding whether or not to jump on that. But it was at a pretty common sale price so I decided to pass on that.

I can't wait any longer. Will be pulling the trigger within a few days assuming there is still stock available at NCIX. Should I get the ASUS GTX 460 768MB DirectCU TOP for $115AR or MSI GTX 460 1024MB Cyclone for $160AR? I plan to upgrade my monitor down the road to a HD monitor, but that could be anywhere from a couple months to couple years.

Why get a GTX 260 when I can spend like $30 more for better performance? And that's not even factoring in the insane overclocking.

I meant which one to choose because one is 768MB and the other is 1024MB. Basically, should I future proof or not..

Edit: The 768MB is $115AR while the 1024MB is $160AR. Leaning towards the ASUS GTX 460 768MB for $115AR atm.

You can't go wrong with the 768MB at that price, especially at your resolution.

Around 80-90 ish....

BFG's are worth a lot coz their warranty is non existent. You might get more because it is an EVGA or XFX.
